These songs are more future/dystopian/post-punk than anything else we did. The session has been lost for decades! After combing through countless tapes, I found the mixes and cleaned them up.
Transparanoia - Took the title from something in Don Delillo's Great Jones Street. I got my first job in a corporate call center and was freaked out by the level of surveillance. We were into Chrome and La Dusseldorf so we channeled that into our sound.
Get Down - A paranoid dance song. I figured that nobody who ever heard this would know the first song off Gang of Four's Entertainment, so I stole the vocal pattern. 1998 was a different time, man.
